Carol Ann Webster Art is the latest iteration of my creative journey.
I’m like a lot of creatives. I started early in life making stuff. My dad was tinkerer and I was in his shop whenever he was working. He let me use his hand tools to make what I could imagine.
Jump ahead to 2015.
I was a kitchen designer in a lumberyard showroom. I was trying to sell my potential customers on the idea of tearing out their old kitchens and replacing them with manufactured cabinets. The only problem was that manufactured cabinets were unknown in central Oklahoma back in the day. All cabinets were shop built and painted on site.
I would hear “But I don’t want to tear them out. I just want them to look better.”
My thought was to become a cabinet/decorative finish painter. I invited my sister to go with me on the journey and she became my “admin help.”
