Story Spark: What memory needs to be made visible?

This piece started with a photo of my great-grandpa and great-grandma Hensley. I know from family stories that they were homesteaders before Oklahoma was a state.

My children didn’t know this story. But now I have a page in my journal that can help them understand their family history.
