What You’ll Make:

In this small-group workshop, you’ll build a fabric journal designed to hold small art, photos, and meaningful stories.

You’ll leave with:

  • A fully constructed textile journal

  • Two four-page fabric signatures

  • A flexible spine so you can add pages later

  • Dangles to make your journal even more special

  • The skills to make more journals at home

This workshop focuses on journal construction and structure. The journal itself is the project.

How the Day Works:

Stacks of Tiny Stories Art Journals filled with art

We’ll move step-by-step through the entire process:

  • Constructing the front and back cover with fabric collage

  • Preparing the fabric pages and building signatures

  • Constructing the flexible spine

  • Assembling the finished journal

You’ll follow clear demonstrations and written steps, with plenty of personal help along the way.

You will leave with a completed Tiny Stories Journal and the confidence to continue on your own.

Why This Workshop Matters:

Most of us already have the materials.

What we need is a container.

  • A place to save the story while we still can.

  • A place to keep the pieces of life we don’t want to lose.

This journal becomes that place.
