About my ecoprint on paper process:
I use a process of ecoprinting on paper using steam and pressure for the color and pattern in my images. I use 100% cotton watercolor paper that has been soaked in alum for this process.
Steam and pressure extract the color and pattern from the flowers and leaves that I’ve picked from my garden or that I have purchased locally.
I use embroidery floss, beads, silk thread, and watercolor to embellish my ecoprinted papers. They are all original ecoprints, not copies.
When I’ve completed the embellishing, I mount the embellished paper to a 4×4×1-5/8 inch cradle board.
Each of my pieces of original art started with flowers and leaves from my garden. I use only high quality, 100% cotton watercolor paper for my process.
The color and pattern on the watercolor papers are all original ecoprints. I do not scan my ecoprints and reuse the images for embellishing.

All of my work is done in a smoke-free environment, at my home and my studio.
I work hard to show the colors as they are in real life, but different computer monitors can present colors differently. Please keep this in mind when purchasing on the internet.
