An original botanical impression using the ecoprint on paper process. You can see the colors have bled through the paper on both sides during the pressure and steam needed to make a botanical impression using fresh flowers and leaves from my garden.

I’ve added embroidery stitches to highlight the colors and detail on the paper.

The botanical impression is 140 lb watercolor paper and colors are what occur during the ecoprint process.

The approximately 4×6 watercolor paper is mounted with acid-free tape to the back of an 8×10 white mat.

Each of my botanical impressions is an original.
