Remember Summer?

Remember Summer?
That's what I'm calling this sketch.

Last summer I sat in my backyard with my sketchbook. And this tiny grasshopper landed on the arm of my chair.
Boy, we could use a little summer now. Am I right?

It’s late January in central Oklahoma. We’re having freezing weather with snow. I’ve been in the house for 4 days because of treacherous roads.

I came across this sketch and I was immediately taken back to the feeling of hot sun in the backyard.

The memory was nice while it lasted.
